KASA SCOUT
THE BIG DRAW 2: PRECEDENT
What attracted me most to this precedent was how the architects connected spaces between levels using retracting doors, open stair wells and and interior windows. In the training centre creating connection will be key, using these approaches could be a good way to approach the concepts of private and public.
SANT MIQUEL SCHOOL
This school by Pepe Gascon has a rational floor plan with contrasting elements that display creativity and interesting forms. The main body of the school is on a horizontal axis, directly piercing through the centre of the building. Off this rational building are geometric entrances with above courtyards. What interested me in this precedent was how the architects connected the rational of the plan with adventurous forms.

VICTOR CIVITA PLAZA
Levisky Arquitetos Associados
This landscape architecture project in San Paulo Brazil creates simple circulation geometry through interesting means in the landscape. The cross axis of circulation are clear, but there is an interesting journey along the way of different elements very much like the progressive circulation of my scheme. I was also attracted to the lighting scheme which guides you through the project. Strip lighting hidden under benches creates effective guiding lights, this is something I will consider when designing the lighting of my scheme.
RICHARD VINES SQUARE
Benedetta Tagiabue
The organicness of the shapes created in the landscape of this design is what most attracted me to the project. The geometry of my scheme is a vast contrast to the organic circles and intersepting curves. Playing with how organic and geometric could connect would be interesting. How can I add organice elements into a geometric lead design? I also was attracted to the consistency in changing surface material and how it becomes a language in the different spaces you are entering.
